Nizamabad Drug Peddler Held in Hyderabad For Selling Ganja To Students
Hyderabad: A man who sold Ganja to engineering students in Hyderabad, was arrested by the Medchal police. The accused was identified as Balaram, a resident of Nizamabad.
The police arrested the students and Balaram (50) was arrested the next day for selling Ganja to students. He sold 500 gms of Ganja to students named M Anudeep and K Sai Naveen, Medchal inspector M Gangadhar said. The police seized 500 gm Ganja and he was produced before the court.
Recently, in a similar incident, a 23-year-old private employee allegedly involved in drug peddling case was arrested here along with his two customers an MBA student and a content writer, police said.
Following a tip-off, a police team laid a trap and nabbed Mohammed Shamneed and the two customers from a house in Ramanthapur area and seized 15 LSD blots, 10 grams of heroin, 500 grams of weed from them, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said.
"Shamneed regularly used to go to Goa, where he came to know about LSD blots. He hatched a plan to earn easy money by selling the drugs in Hyderabad at a higher price and used to purchase it from an unknown person for Rs 500 per LSD blot," the Commissioner said.
