Congress leader killed in road mishap

A Congress leader died in a road accident in Khammam district on Thursday.

Sanjeeva Rao and his wife were on a two-wheeler and a speeding van hit them from behind near old bus stand at Wyra in Khammam district.
They were returning home when the van hit the two-wheeler from behind. The police said the van driver fled from the scene. Police registered a case and began the investigation.
