Bees attack TRS men waiting to receive KCR

It was a sting operation of a different kind. As the Who is Who of party leaders and mandarins were waiting for KCR's chopper to arrive at Gajwel in Medak district on Thursday, suddenly a beehive atop a tree was disturbed.
This made the bees restive and they began stinging the people there.
The people ran helter-skelter and used shawls and chairs to escape bee stings. MP Kottapalli Prabhakar, MLC Ramunaik, collector Rahul Bojja suffered honeybee stings. Several officials had to heave themselves into their cars and close all the windows to escape from the wrath of honeybees. Some were seen covering their faces with chairs. The injured were taken to a near by hospital.
The Telangana CM along with the officials was scheduled to tour in the panchayats of Gajwel, which is his home constituency.
