Cong Govt in AP needs to be cleansed: Palvai
Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Palvai Goverdhan Reddy today felt an immediate need to cleanse both the party organization and the Congress Government in Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to media persons in New Delhi, the MP said that the administration as well as the Congress organization in the State needs to be geared up to face the 2014 polls. He said that he had already brought the mater to the party High Command notice. Reddy, however, did not name to whom he had briefed about the matter but only said that he had met some leaders in the party High Command.
He was highly critical of the way the Telangana march was dealt with. “With the Chief Minister talking to the march organizers, he made the state police to do the job. This is highly unbecoming on the part of the Chief Minister,” he felt. This, in fact, created a sort of fear psychosis among the masses, he added.
