Botsa pooh-poohs Naidu’s Padayatra - Sakshi Post

PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana today ridiculed the Padayatra being taken up by Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu. Instead of christening it as “Mee Kosam” (For You) he would have named it as “Naa Kosam” (For Me), he commented.

Talking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan after paying rich tributes to the Mahatma, the PCC chief made light of the TDP president’s “Padayatra”. He had already lost the people’s confidence; Botsa said and termed the ongoing Padayatra as another political gimmick of Naidu “which the people will not believe him.” Botsa made it clear that the Congress need not create any hurdles during the yatra as they are well aware that Naidu would not gain anything from this.

With regard to certain remarks made by Naidu, the PCC chief said that Naidu has the habit of talking something while in power and giving quite contradictory statements while out of power. He dismissed them only as allegations made by Naidu against the Congress Government in the State and even offered for a public debate on the welfare schemes being implemented.

Denying any differences between the Chief Minister and the ministers from Telangana region, Botsa Satyanarayana said that the ministers are only concerned about the delay in the announcing the Centre’s decision on separate Telangana. He asserted that as a disciplined Congress worker he would strictly abide by whatever decision taken by the party High Command on separate Telangana.
