Condolences pour in on 16 people who were killed when a bus fell in into a gorge in Anantapur district on Wednesday.

 

Narenadra Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief and condoled the loss of lives in a bus accident in Anantapur district. "PM has expressed grief on the unfortunate accident in Anantapur, AP. He extends condolences to the families of those who lost their lives," the prime minister's office said in a tweet.   Chandrababu: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu condoled the deaths in the accident. He directed the district collector and SP for better treatment for the injured persons.   YS Jagan: YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep shock at the ghastly road mishap near Anantapur's Madakasira. He expressed condolences to the dead, who included mostly school and college goers.    Chiranjeevi: Former union minister Chiranjeevi expressed deep condolence to the kin of the deceased in the ghastly road mishap  near Madakasira in Anantapur. The actor-turned-politician demanded the Government to announced Rs 15 lakh compensation to the kin of the deceased.   Balakrishna: Hindhupur MLA Balakrishna said the accident was heart rending.  Several politicians including Paritala Sunitha and Harikrishna were shocked at the accident and expressed their grief.
