CM refuses to talk to Mudragada, wants party to counter him
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh chief minister on Monday refused to accept the counsel of his party ministers to take up discussions with Mudragada Padmanabham with regards to the now escalated agitation for Kapu reservation. He was meeting with his senior ministers in the camp office on Monday.
Expressing stiff resistance on the proposal to sit down with Padmanabham, Chandrababu had reportedly said that there was no need to compromise on his stance on Mudragada. He wanted his ministers to avoid Mudragada and consult with other Kapu leaders who could toe the government's line of argument.
The chief minister appears to assign the blame of the Tuni incident on Mudragada and also accused the YSRCP of instigating the Kapu agitation to turn violent and directed his senior party cadre to counter them.
