CM Rattled As His Name Crops Up In Exchange of Demonetised Notes
Karnataka: The case of recover of demonetized notes with a face value of Rs 14.80 crore from rowdysheeter-former corporator V Nagaraju aka Bomb Naga took an unexpected twist what with the accused releasing a video where he claimed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his PA Manjunath, besides five others, were also involved in the crime.
Nagaraju, who is on the run, has released this four-minute long video. This has set off a furious debate about the role of CM’s PA. Nagaraju said five senior IAS and IPS officials were also involved in the scam. He said he had tried to exchange the old and demonetized notes belonging to Siddaramaiah. He also said that he had already exchanged huge amounts belonging to the CM through Manjunath.
CM Siddaramaiah quickly distanced himself from Manjunath and said he did not know who Manjunath was.When media asked him questions about Manjunath, he flew into a rage and said they should investigate before asking such questions.
