Chiru says he told Sonia about SC, ST sub-plan

Now that the SC/ST sub-plan has become a reality, a lot of leaders especially from the Congress have started taking credit for it. Union Minister for Tourism and erstwhile PRP chief K Chiranjeevi  is first in the race to get credit on the issue.

Chiranjeevi claims that it was he who had suggested it to the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi at the time when he was merging his party with the Congress.

Talking to mediapersons in Hyderabad, he said “ I had suggested to madam Sonia Gandhi when I had merged PRP with Congress," he said adding that he was in the Assembly today to share the achievement of Congress leaders.

When reporters asked him if it was right on his part to claim credit for it, Chiranjeevi said there was nothing wrong in taking credit for what he had done.
