TJAC to hold 'Pracharayatras'

Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram has decided to become aggressive and planned a series of protests against the Congress Government for not announcing Telangana state.

The steering committee of TJAC which met in Hyderabad has finalised its future course of action and decided to organise 'Pracharayatra' by ministers and legislators in their respective constituencies.

After the meeting Kodandaram appealed the people to observe December 23 as a ‘Betrayal Day', the day the Centre went back on the statement on the process of statehood to Telangana.  They would fly black flags and organise a candle light march on Dec 9  and observe the day as 'Telangana achievement'.

He demanded that a positive decision has to to be taken in the current Assembly session. If it fails, "they would attack Assembly", Kodandaram said.
