Child Labourers in Old City Set Free
Hyderabad: In a cordon search conducted in the early hours on Tuesday, the Old City police set free 33 children working in bangles factories in Falaknuma area.A huge battalion of police comprising 350 officials conducted raids on the factories located within the residential areas. All the children were of below 15 years and belong to Bihar. The South Zone DCP Satyanarayana who lead the search troops said 30 rowdy sheeters were taken into custody and non-bailable cases will be registered against those responsible for the child labour. Huge quantity of food items including 116 kg of ration rice, 300 litres of kerosene were seized.
