'Chandrababu, Venkaiah playing dramas'

CPI National Executive Member Narayana lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu on Monday.

He said that both the leaders were playing dramas.

“Both the leaders have failed in bringing special status for Andhra Pradesh,” said Narayana.

Speaking to reporters in Chittoor on Monday, he said, “The issue of Polavaram project is becoming increasingly complicated with the twin-tongued attitude of the political parties.”

He demanded curbing of red sandal smuggling in the district.

He also  asked the state government to waive off loans of farmers immediately.

It may be recalled that a news agency published a news report which states that Planning Commission of India is against granting special status for Andhra Pradesh. This set off a furious debate over whether the state of Andhra Pradesh will get special status or not.
