Anam says he is yet to get a TDP invite

Is Congress strongman from Nellore, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, planning to join the Telugu Desam Party and reap the benefits of being in a ruling party?

While there are indications galore that Anam is looking towards the TDP, Anam himself says that he had no invitation from the TDP.

Political watchers say that Anam is indirectly hinting that he is not averse to leaving the Congress. Replying to a question during a chitchat with the mediapersons, he said that he has an attachment spanning 35 years with Chandrababu Naidu.

“I had worked in the TDP at some point of time in the past. I am continuing my relations with the TDP leaders,” he said.

“At this moment, I am not thinking of joining the TDP. I did not get an invitation from the TDP either,” said Anam.
