Bifurcation blues hit secretariat again
Bifurcation blues refuse to leave the sibling states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. After the secretariat was divided into two by erecting barricades, Thursday witnessed unseembly squabble over who should sit where in the L Block.
When the Telangana employees asked the AP employees to vacate D block allocated to Telangana, the latter refused to do so. This led to minor scuffle between both the groups. In another incident in the L Block, which was allocated to Andhra Pradesh, the employees forced the Telangaites to vacate immediately. All the files belonging to the Telangana region were tied in bundles. They said since the building was allocated to them, the Telganana employees should leave quickly. The T employees wanted some time, but the Andhra employees wanted them to leave immediately.
This led to heated wordy duel among the employees. The T employees had lodged a complaint with their superiors. The highest seat of administration for both state appears to be embroiled in unseemly squabbles affecting the overall decision-making.
