Anonymous call puts off wedding!

Two heroes and a heroine! Amid a dramatic turn of events, a marriage was put off on Thursday at Godavarikhani in Karimnagar district after a phone call from an anonymous person.

The bridegroom, who received a phone that the caller was in love with the bride, left the marriage hall, cancelling the wedding. It was revealed in the police counseling that the caller and the bride had an affair. Now, the police owned up responsibility to counsel the girl’s parents for uniting the lovers. 

Police said the parents of a girl of Annapurna Colony in NTPC Jyothynagar in Godavarikhani had arranged their daughter’s marriage with Kanakaiah of Naganuru village. The marriage was scheduled on Thursday morning. Both the families reached the marriage hall. Kanakaiah received a phone call from one Ramesh, who revealed his affair with the girl. Immediately, Kanakaiah took a decision to cancel the marriage. 

Shocked over the developments, the parents of the girl lodged a complaint to the police seeking action against the groom. The police summoned Ramesh and the girl. During the police counseling, they agreed to marry. But the parents raised objection. Now, the police are on the job of persuading the parents. Let us hope, they will be united!
