‘I am not lobbying for Home ministry’

Minister for Panchayat Raj K Jana Reddy on Thursday denied reports that he was lobbying for Home Minister.

“Continuing in Home Ministry in the present circumstances was not that easy,” said Jana Reddy. He said he felt there was nothing in CM post.

Reacting on the decision of Telangana Congress MPs Manda Jagannadham and Vivek and former PCC chief K Kesava Rao to leave Congress, Jana Reddy said the party would affect if they left the party. To what extend the party suffers would be decided in the elections, he said and suggested that the party high command should find a solution to the issue. He however said it was in the process to call the MPs and other leaders to finalise it. Replying to a question, Jana Reddy made it clear that he would not leave the party.
