‘Pawan Kalyan, Naidu Raking Up Sand Scarcity Issue For Political Benefits’
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav lashed out at former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan who tried to politicise the sand scarcity issue in the state for their political benefits.
Addressing media persons on Saturday, November 2, Kumar alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is the founder of sand mafia and AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking all the necessary steps to eradicate sand mafia in the state.
The Irrigation Minister added that there is a scarcity of sand in the state due to the floods caused by continuous rains. He assured that sand scarcity issue will be solved within in a week or ten days.
Taking a dig at the previous Chandrababu Naidu's government he questioned why the TDP regime didn't seize any vehicle carrying sand illegally and questioned Pawan Kalyan's silence over corruption during the previous Chandrababau Naidu's ruling.
The YSRCP leader also took potshots at Pawan Kalyan's 'Chalo Vishakhapatnam' march and said that the Jana Sena chief is taking out the march only to mislead the public.
Kumar criticised saying that Pawan Kalyan is behaving like an adopted son of Chandrababu Naidu and his 'Chalo Vishakhapatnam' march only for keeping his identity and political existence.
