AP CM YS Jagan US Tour At Personal Expense: Check Itinerary
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will address a gathering of Telugus settled in North America on August 18 at K Bailey Hutchinson Convention Centre in Dallas at 6 PM (4.30 AM IST). It may be recalled that YS Jagan has embarked on a week-long private trip to the United States along with members of his family on Thursday night.
Afrter taking part in the Independence Day celebrations in Vijayawada and attending the at home hosted by the Governor at Raj Bhavan, the AP CM accompanied by his mother and honorary president of YSRCP, YS Vijayamma, coordinator of government programmes Talasila Raghuram and others left Gannavaram for Hyderabad last evening.
After departure from his residence in Lotus Pond, YS Jagan and his family members boarded a US-bound flight at 9.50 PM from Shamshabad airport. The CM's office put out details of the chief minister's US trip and disclosed that expenses for the trip would be borne by the chief minister and that funds would not be drawn from the government treasury. On August 16, at 6PM IST, YS Jagan would reach Washington DC. The same day, he would meet with the US envoy and also with representatives of the US-India business council. Later in the evening, he would attend a dinner on the invitation of India's ambassador to the US.
On August 18, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister would interact with representatives of business firms on a one-on-one basis. YS Jagan has kept aside August 19, 20 and 21 for his personal work and would meet representatives from the Telugu community on August 22. The same night he will leave for India.
