‘Chandrababu Govt peddling lies’
YSRCP chief YS Jagan’s Rythu Bharosa Yatra continued for the fourth day in Anantapur. On
Thursday, he called on the family members of farmer Pullaiah, who ended hi life due to mounting debts. YS Jagan instilled confidence in the members of Pullaiah’s family and said the party would stand by them in time of their need.
Later, he interacted with the members of the farmers’ associations and DWCRA groups. Several farmers told YS Jagan that they were not able to get loans. They told him that their loans have not been waived off, but the Government was claiming that all was well. They said the bank officers were throwing away their pattadar passbooks as they have not cleared their loans.
Speaking on the occasion, YS Jagan said the farmers were in dire straits and that Chandrababu Naidu was peddling lies on crop loan waiver and Dwcra loan waiver. He said the TDP government has not fulfilled its poll eve promises.
On the occasion, the people from Nalladasaripalle poured out their woes to YS Jagan and said that they were facing acute water crisis. YS Jagan assured to take up their issue.
