Zoo Park to get new battery-operated vans, new animals
Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park will flag-off new non-polluting visitor vehicles such as the battery operated mini vans on Friday. Other than the cars, the Zoo is ready to exhibit new animal species including the albino black bucks, barking deer and smooth coated Indian otters, the authorities said.
The animal Park will get new battery-driven visitor vehicles in addition to the existing 10 vans. Four new buses which run on CNG are being brought in for safari rides. Minister for environment, forests, science and technology Jogu Ramanna, is expected to inaugurate these vehicles.
