'YSRCP to win 167 seats in AP'

'YSRCP to win 167 seats in AP' - Sakshi Post

Stating that the people of Andhra Pradesh were fed up with the TDP, which reneged on its election-eve promises, YSRCP chief YS Jagan said if elections were to be held today, the people would give 167 seats to his party.

Speaking to reporters in Srikakulam on Friday, he dared Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu to go to people and seek votes.

The Leader of Opposition said that he had never expected that the popularity graph of Chandrababu would fall so quickly. “It  generally takes a minimum of two years for any government lose popularity. But, Chandrababu managed to alienate the people within a month,” said Pulivendula MLA.

“Chandrababu's argument that he would waive off crop loans with the proceeds from the auctioning of red sandars. But, all he would get is Rs 1500 crore," Jagan said and added that “A case under section 420 is booked for pick pocketing. What case one should book against Chandrababu for cheating the people of the state?”

Y.S.Jagan reminded that Chandrababu had released two manifestos for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and promised farm loan waiver in both of them.

“In his letter to the election commission, Chandrababu said that he had enough idea about the resources of the state and that loan waiver was possible. He also advised the farmers not to pay back their loans as he would waive them off once he gets back the power,” reminded the leader of opposition.

Y.S.Jagan said that Chandrababu promised one job in each family in the state. “Chandrababu also promised an amount of Rs.2000 for every unemployed youth in the state. Now, he is back-tracking on both and is arguing that job did mean only ‘government job’,” said Y.S.Jagan.
