YSRCP To Strengthen Party At Booth Level, Focus On Voter Enrollment
The YSRCP has decided to strengthen its booth-level committees and take up enrollment of voters in a big way. The party leadership, comprising general secretaries, officials spokespersons, presidents of the party affiliates, MLAs, MPs, MLCs and coordinators of various constituencies, met on Wednesday at the Lotus Pond office and decided to focus on identifying bogus voters.
The party also discussed the upcoming Padayatra of YS Jagan and other future programmes. YS Jagan will undertake a Padayatra spanning six months and covering 3000 km. The Padayatra will cover 120 assembly constituencies int he state. In the remaining 55 constituencies, bus yatras would be undertaken.
Underscoring the need to improve the party organisation at the booth level, the leadership called upon the party workers to ensure that the party flag flutters in every booth. The party has slammed chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for watering down the demand for special category status for Andhra Pradesh. He said the YSRCP will wage a relentless battle to achieve special category status for the state.
