Jilted Girl Chooses AP Secretariat To Attempt Suicide

The woman is learnt to have been cheated by one Shravan from Vizianagaram. As she could not get justice from the police, she decided to directly lodge a complaint with AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Amaravati: A woman caused a flutter at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat at Velagapudi in Amaravati on Wednesday when she attempted to kill herself by consuming sleeping pills.
The woman is learnt to have been cheated by one Shravan from Vizianagaram. As she could not get justice from the police, she decided to directly lodge a complaint with AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. When she came to meet the Chief Minister at his chamber, the security personnel refused to allow her inside.
Angered by this, she staged a sit-in in front of the Secretariat. Later, she swallowed sleeping pills. An alert security personnel noticed this and immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital. Her condition is stated to be out of danger.
