YSRCP To Stand By AgriGold Victims
The YSR Congress has reiterated that the Party would stand by the victims of AgriGold and said that an action plan has been drafted to mount pressure on the Chandrababu Naidu Government to return the dues to the depositors.
Speaking to reporters on Monday party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said the party has chalked out an agitation programme and in the first phase the Party would meet the kin of those who committed suicides after the company defaulted payments.
If there is no response from the government after the first phase of agitation, the party would intensify the battle. He said. About 32 lakh families have been affected due to the AgriGold scam.
The state should immediately pay Rs 5 lakh compensation to the kin of the deceased, he demanded, adding that some ministers, including Nara Lokesh have set their eyes on the land belonging to AgriGold.
After YSR Congress comes to power the issue would be settled amicably, he said adding that the party was fully prepared for the snap poll.
