YSRCP to get 80 to 100 seats in Andhra Pradesh: NDTV poll
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSR Congress Party that participated in the general election for the very first time will score between 80 and 100 seats in Andhra Pradesh, according to a poll conducted by NDTV.
The battle for Andhra Pradesh governance has been narrowed down to star only two parties, YSRCP and TDP, with Congress set to emerge as the biggest loser. The polls indicates that Congress will be at the receiving end of people's anger for its instrumental role in state's bifurcation, and might not win any seats at all.
Incidentally, in 2009 elections, Congress had bagged 21 seats.
TDP-BJP alliance might win 11-15 MP seats while YSRCP is likely to get 10-14 seats.
The survey shows that TRS is leading over Congress in Telangana. Out of 119 assembly seats, TRS is likely to win 66-80 MLA seats while Congress Party may get 18-30 seats. Out of 17 MP seats in Telangana, TRS is likely to bag 9-13 MP seats followed by Congress who might win three seats. The BJP-TDP alliance is expected to win three seats while MIM is expected to hold on to Hyderabad.
