YSRCP MLA Held For Protest At Assembly Over Assault On Transport Commissioner

Amaravati: Opposition YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has been forcibly shifted from Assembly premises on Monday when he was staging a protest demanding action action the ruling TDP MP Kesineni Nani and MLA Bonda Uma for their involvement in the assault on Transport Commissioner Balasubramanyam on Sunday.

Reddy along with some other MLAs of his party launched his sit-in protest at Gate 4 as soon as the session resumed in the morning. They demanded legal action against the MP and MLA who obstructed a government official from discharging his duties and confined him illegally.

Assembly Marshals lifted Bhaskhar Reddy from the place staging that no sit-in is allowed in the premises after Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu entered the House. Reddy is reportedly taken to Mangalagiri.
