Rivals hack YSRCP leader to death

Kurnool: YSRCP activist Vasantha Rao (55) was hacked to death by his rivals on the Kurnool Highway.
The assailants waylaid him, chased him and then hacked him with sickles. The incident occurred in the small hours of Friday.
Rao was on his way to Hyderabad on some work. The miscreants blocked the way and pelted stones on the car forcing Vasantha Rao to come out of the car. Immediately, the assailants pounced on him and hacked him to death.
The people going on the road saw the body in a pool of blood and informed the police about the incident. The police shifted the body for post-mortem and registered a case.
