YSRCP eyes GHMC elections - Sakshi Post

With GHMC elections slated for November next, the YSRCP is planning organisational strengthening in a big way.

In the just-concluded elections, the YSRCP secured considerable number of votes in all the 14 constituencies in the GHMC area. Though it couldn't win any seat, it could affect the electoral outcome in several constituencies.

The party fared very well in some assembly segments under Malkajgiri and Secunderabad parliamentary constituencies. It secured 26,973 votes in Quthbullapur segment, 24,347 in Serilingampalli, 23,845 in Khairtabad, 21,887 in Kukatpally, 19,376 in L.B.Nagar, 16,394 in Uppal, 14,828 in Malkajigiri, 11,688 in Secunderabad and 10,528 votes in Jubilee Hills constituency.

YSRCP city convenor, Adam Vijay Kumar, thanked the voters for their support. “We will wage relentless battles to solve the problems of the people. We will be all the more committed in our fight for the people. We will become strong by the time elections are announced to the GHMC,” said Vijay Kumar.
