YSRCP dharna stopped, leaders arrested
Vijayawada: In a protest against the police's foiling of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's indefinite fast, the YSRCP workers and leaders tried to march from PWD Grand to CM camp office in Vijayawada.
However, the police have stopped the leaders from taking the march forward and it led to a clash between the party workers and the police. The police have also arrested the party leaders and it led to unrest in the area. The party leaders condemned the Government's behaviour and also said that the Government is fooling people on the issue of 'Special Status'.
Senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana has made it very clear that the party would not give up it's fight for attaining the special status of the state. Another senior leader Ummareddy Venkateshwarulu said that the police are not showing any respect towards the party leaders and MLAs.
