YSR's absence felt: MP Chinta Mohan - Sakshi Post

Since the issue of state's partition has reared its head, many leaders across political parties have lamented the absence of Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. They opined that the state would not have experienced such political turbulence had he been alive.

On Thursday, Congress MP Chinta Mohan joined that ever growing list. Talking to reporters in Tirupati, Chinta Mohan said that the situation would have been controlled under YSR.  He also added that if YSR was alive the issue of partition would have been handled easily.

Meanwhile, the Tirupati MP faced the wrath of Samaikyandhra supporters during the Rachabanda program held at Naranyanvanam. Raising slogans against the MP, the protestors demanded his resignation. They also asked him not to conduct such programs till he tenders his resignation. When the situation turned tense, the MP left in the middle of the program. It is learnt that the police took some of the protestors into their custody.
