YSR CP calls for road blockade on Nov 7
YSR Congress Party, which is emerged as vanguard to the the Samaikyandhra movement, called for 48- hour road blockade on November 6 and 7, as the meeting of Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana is scheduled on November 7.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, YSRCP senior leader and political affairs committee member MV Mysoora Reddy called upon the people to take part in road blockade, as GoM meeting on November 7 will consider the reports submitted by officials to go ahead with the process of division.
Announcing party’s future course of actions to protest against the division of Andhra Pradesh, Mysoora urged the people to observe AP Formation Day on November 1 as Integration Day.
“Adapt resolutions in favour of Samaikyandhra at village meetings on the state formation day and send them to PM Manhoman Singh through emails,” he said.
People, who voicing against the division, should burn the effigies of those responsible for the division, as if Ravana is burnt ritually, he further said. He also requested the women to participate in large numbers in the event.
