YS Jagan to visit Ongole on Nov 24, 25

Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would meet leaders of Guntur district on Wednesday at the party headquarters in Hyderabad.

He is expected to take stock the situation arising out of the TDP government's efforts at land-pooling.
He is also scheduled to meet from party leaders from Vizag on Friday and the party MPs on November 22 to discus the strategies to be adopted during the upcoming Parliament sessions .
Later, he would visit Ongole in Prakasam district to review organisational progress for two days beginning from November 24.
Meanwhile, Jagan is also expected to meet the farmers who are opposing giving up their lands for the sake of state capital.
Expressing strong resentment over TDP land acquisition policy, locals have said that they cannot trust Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who went back on his poll promise of waiver of loans and they are not prepared to give up their land in lieu of the promised benefits.
“We know the Chief Minister had already filed to waive crop loans. If we give away our small landholding trusting him, we would end up with zilch,” farmers from Talluru mandal told a visiting delegation of YSR Congress Farmers’ Rights Protection committee during its tour in Gunutur.
