YS Jagan to tour Anantapur from May 11

Hyderabad: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will tour Anantapur district from May 11, according to party general secretary Talasila Raghuram.

Gunthakallu, Uravakonda constituencies will be covered in this Raithu Bharosa Yatra. This tour is to assure families and console them who killed themselves due to debts. To comfort and instill confidence, YS Jagan will meet bereaved families.
YS Jagan will also meet families of Prasad Reddy and Vijaybhaskar Reddy who were killed in politically motivated attacks by rivals in the district.

Covid cases rise in India; govt says monitoring the situation

New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) Amid the latest wave of Covid-19, the number of SARS-CoV2 infections in the country has risen to 2,170. As many as 511 new cases were recorded from the previous day, according to the latest update by the Health Ministry on Saturday. Meanwhile, 255 patients were discharged or migrated in the last 24 hours, indicating an improvement in recovery.
