RTC cracks down on unions

Hyderabad: RTC officials initiated disciplinary actions against the RTC union members who are currently on strike.The authorities decided to derecognise the unions as their terms expired long back. They also cancelled the special allowances provided to the union leaders, including the ODs (on duty). The employees unions would not be allowed to collect membership fees from the salaries of the employees.
