YS Jagan Supports Tomorrow’s Bandh Call
Vijayawada: In an effort to get Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh, Leader of Opposition in AP assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that his party will fully support tomorrow's bandh call given by Andhra Pradesh Pratyeka Hoda Saadhana Samiti (SCS Committee). In support for the bandh, YS Jagan has taken a break for the day from historic mass outreach programme Praja Sankalpa Yatra.
YSRCP General Secretary Talasila Raghuram said that the padayatra of YS Jagan was stopped for the day to enable the YSRCP leaders and cadre to participate in the bandh and make it a success. The Praja Sankalpa Yatra will resume as usual on April 17 morning from Muthyalampadu in Mylavaram constituency of Krishna district, he added.
A state-wide bandh for tomorrow has already received support from Left parties, Congress and Jana Sena. Different people's organisations and APUWJ have also expressed their support for the bandh.
