Support Bandh Or Face Severe Consequences: Chalasani Tells Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Pratyeka Hoda Saadhana Samiti (SCS Committee) Convenor Chalasani Srinivas - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Pratyeka Hoda Saadhana Samiti (SCS Committee) Convenor Chalasani Srinivas said that the state-wide bandh call was in protest against the centre's attitude towards the no-confidence notices issued in Parliament. He expressed his displeasure over the way the centre handled the indefinite fast taken up by YSRCP MPs. Speaking to the media here today, he said that YSR Congress Party, Left Parties, Congress and Jana Sena as well as NGOs and Teachers' Unions have expressed their support to the April 16 state bandh.

Chalasani was angered by the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's statement that bandhs were hampering the development of the state. He questioned TDP chief as to how many bandhs his party had organised while sitting in the opposition. "If possible support or else face severe consequences," he threatened.

SCS Committee convenor called upon the people not to disturb the children attending national level examinations. He had asked state HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao to postpone state examinations. The bandh was being conducted for the future of the students in the state, he informed. He called upon people from all walks of life to support the state-wide bandh.
