YS Jagan's mike cut, 8 YSRCP MLAs suspended - Sakshi Post

Eight YSRCP MLAs have been suspended from the AP Assembly for three days (March 23) for trooping into the well to protest against the cutting the mike of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, while he was making his speech.

Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu moved the resolution to suspend the MLAs. The suspended MLAs are Gadikota Srikanth Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, G Mutyala Naidu, Chirla Jaggireddy, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, Shivaprasad Reddy, Kodali Nani, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Sheikh Chand Basha.
The suspended members were forcibly evicted from the house by using marshals. the YSRCP members shouted slogans in protest against the suspension.

As YS Jagan began presenting a blistering critique of the AP budget, his mike was cut. The YSRCP members protested at this. When YS Jagan insisted on speaking, Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad refused to allow him. At this YS Jagan shouted "I will ..... I will". At this the speaker curtly told him "No... You cannot speak."
At this YSRCP MLAs trooped into the well of the house to protest. Amid din, the house had to be adjourned for 10 minutes. When the house reassembled, Yanamala moved the motion for the suspension of eight members.
