YS Jagan lampoons Chandrababu for reneging on poll promises
Anantapur: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday strongly criticized Chandrababu Naidu government for reneging on the promises made during the 2014 elections.
Speaking during an interaction with the handloom weavers, farmers and DWCRA women at Uravakonda in Anatapur district, he said Chandrababu has changed tack after coming to power. He said despite being in power for one year, he had done precious little for the farmers, DWCRA women and weavers, YS Jagan said.
Lampooning Chandrababu for his false claims that the crop loans have been waived and that the DWCRAwomen were happy, he said the people are cursing Chandrababu for doing hothing for them. He said the people of Andhra Pradesh are deeply disenchanted with Chandrababu. Referring to the weavers, YS Jagan said as many as 11 farmers had committed suicide in Anantapur alone due to mounting debts.
