'Daddy called us one by one to kill'

Hyderabad: A teen witnessed whole her family being slaughtered by her father. She was the first witness and the sole survivor of the onslaught.

Prathyusha, the eldest daughter of Psychotic Somireddy Rami Reddy of Sainagar in Balapur area of the city, who resorted to a mass killing of his mother, wife and daughter. His elder daughter, however, managed to escape and locked herself in the room. The horrendous incident occurred in Saidabad area on Friday morning.

Rami Reddy had some disputes with his wife. On Friday morning, he killed his mother Subhadra (65), wife Radhika (40) and daughter Akshaya (14). His elder daughter Prathyusha escaped death as she hid herself in the balcony

The little girl explained the media in fright the heinous act her father ruthlessly committed.  She recounted the tale of horror.

"We were all asleep,  mummy, who was sleeping in the other room, suddenly shrieked and dad locked the door from inside.

He called Akshaya next (her sister). He throttled her to death with her dhuppatta . When grand-mom questioned him as to what was happening he replied 'nothing. ' After a while he killed Grand mom too. I got scared and hid in the balcony and closed the door behind tight.
Daddy called out for me too. "Prathyusha come out" He threatened. I got way too scared
He threw knife at me from ground. Meanwhile Uncle (Killer's elder brother) came , Daddy in rage asked him " Who are you?" and said "the properties would be mine if I killed all these and that is why I have killed them". He also scolded aunt (murders' sister-in-law) and went out."

The girl was trembling with fear while recounting the story.
