YS Jagan calls on party MP, MLA held in custody

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday called on Rajampet MP PV Mithun Reddy and Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who are held at Central Sub Jail in Nellore in judicial custody.

YS Jagan, flew down to Thirupati from Hyderabad and from there reached the Central Jail directly by road way at around noon on Thursday to meet them. Mithun Reddy was arrested after he allegedly had an altercation with an Air India official on November 26 last year at Renigunta Airport in Chittoor district and was sent for 14-day judicial custody. MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was arrested on Monday in a Railway case during Samaikhyandhra Movement and sent to custody.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed Chandrababu Naidu saying that the TDP chief has been embroiling the YSRCP leaders in false cases, adding, the arrests of MP Mithun Reddy and MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy were unjust and done at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu only, he alleged.

YSRCP chief was accompanied by the party's local leaders Jyothula Nehru, Peddireddy RamaChandra Reddy, Srikanth Reddy, Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Kotamreddy Sridhar and Anil Kumar Yadav.
