Youth Murdered At Hostel In Kukatpally

Hyderabad: A youth staying at Anil’s Boys Hostel in Vivekananda Nagar Colony in Kukatpally was found murdered on Thursday morning.
The deceased, Padiyala Gopi (25), hailed from Girgitpally near Vikarabad and was living in city for two years working as a lift mechanic at SK Elevators in the locality.
The victim is believed to have been killed by a hammer from his own toolkit, said the Kukatpally police.
His roommate Shourya Reddy who was not coming to the hostel for three days is suspected to be behind the murder.
The incident is suspected to have occurred sometime at midnight but the hostel staff found the body lying in blood in the morning.
The murder is being probed, police said.
