Woman murdered in Piler, cash, jewellery stolen

Some unknown persons have murdered a retired teacher Yasodamma at Durganagar in Piler in Chittoor district on Saturday and stolen some amount of cash and jewellery.

Immediately after knowing the incident, the police reached the house to start their investigations in the matter. A clues team is also doing its work in the area.

However, the persons tried their level best so that proofs are not found.

The daughter and son-in-law of Yasodamma are living at some other place. The exact amount that was stolen can be found only after the duo reached the house.

Police are suspecting that it is only a handiwork of the known persons only. They are also doing their investigations whether the lady has any enemies.
