Woman kills her just-born girl

Vijayawada: Vijayawada Maternity hospital authorities found a just-born baby lying dead in a toilet in a pool of blood.

Upon investigation it came to light that the baby was born to the lady who came to the hospital in 108 Ambulance. The woman suffered heavy labour pains, went on to use the wash room and never came back.

The hospital authorities doubt that she could have killed the just born as she was a girl child and may have fled. 

They immediately launched a search for her in and around the hospital but couldn’t trace her. Police said they are trying to trace her information through the 108 service she made use of.
