Hyderabad: A married woman was killed by her paramour in Kukatapally last Sunday. The incident came to light on Monday when the flat owner broke open the window after foul smell started amanating from the flat. Pratyusha was found dead with multiple stab injuries all over her body.

Pratyusha was the wife of one Anji Reddy living in road no. 2 of KPHB Colony. As her husband was traveling to Sri Lanka very often on business transactions, Pratyusha had developed intimacy with her friend Srinivas. On coming to know about their affair, Anji Reddy confronted Srinivas and told him to stay away. However, after sometime the lovers resumed their affair as Anji Reddy was away on business trips for long periods.

Srinivas had taken a pent house on rent in Balajinagar three months back and at the time of occupying the house he introduced Pratyusha as his wife. After a while, she went to her parents' place and left behind her two-year-old daughter with them and came back to live with Srinivas on last Friday. On Saturday night Srinivas went out and did not come back.

There was no sign of any movement at the house on Sunday and then foul smell started emanating from inside on Monday. The flat owner broke open the window to find Pratyusha lying dead in a pool of blood.

Police suspect Srinivas and booked a case against him. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
