Woman jumps off auto to save self, dies

A woman died when she jumped off from a running auto suspecting a foul play of the driver.
The bizarre incident took place at Adurupalli village in Chejerla mandal of Nellore district on Thursday.
According to reports, the woman who boarded the auto to her village noticed the driver taking her to another route, tried to save herself from the clutches of the auto driver and jumped when the auto picked up speed. She sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them in the hospital. Police registered a case and are looking for the auto driver.
