Woman Gang-Raped In Front Of Children; 4 Held      

Visakhapatnam: A 35-year-old woman from Sikkim was allegedly raped by two young men in front of her three children at her house in the city. Though the incident took place on July 3, it came to light on Wednesday when the police arrested the accused.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Monday evening when the victim's husband was away for work. A gang of four men, including a minor barged into the house. Two members of the gang raped the woman in front of her children. They also threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone. They also searched for the money in the house and fled away with Rs650. The couple hailing from Sikkim settled in the city for some time.

On Tuesday when her husband returned from work, she informed him and lodged a complaint with police. The police arrested the accused within 24 hours after the complaint and sent them for remand.
