Woman Commits Suicide After Stranger Attempts To Rape Her

Kadapa: A 20-year-old woman hanged herself after a man tried to rape her on Wednesday in Kadapa district.
Supraja, a native of Valluru in Kadapa is survived by parents. On March 24, when she was alone at home, a man sneaked into the house and tried to rape her. Locals came to her rescue when she started screaming and handed over the man to the police.
Police registered a case against the miscreant Bhaskar Babu and took him into custody. After the incident, the girl was in depression. On Wednesday, when her parents were out on some work, she committed suicide by hanging herself to the sealing with a saree.
