Man Sets Himself Ablaze After Wife Leaves For Parents’ Home

Nizamabad: A man set himself ablaze after quarreling with his wife over a petty issue in Nizamabad on Wednesday.

According to police, Mahendar(25), a native of Maharashtra married to Rajeshwari six months back. They were living at Hamalwadi in Nizamabad. The couple started fighting with each other a few months after marriage and the wife left for her parents place.

Feeling depressed over loneliness, Mahendar set himself on fire and died on the spot before neighbors tried to rescue him. Police sent the body to post-mortem and the investigation is underway.
