Woman Claims Rahul Gandhi Promised To Marry Her (In Dreams)

Since I’m an OBC, have been working with his party for so long, why won’t he not marry me? - Sakshi Post

Allahabad: Here comes a proposal for the country's most 'suitable boy' from a most common woman; a video is doing the rounds on social media of the woman wanting to marry Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. She has been “charmed” by Gandhi and has put forward many reasons why he should marry her.

The unidentified woman from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh gave an interview to media outside the Congress office in the state and declared her ‘love’ for the Congress vice president. The ardent fan said Rahul has had "meals with Dalits", "helps Dalits", can "marry Dalit" and "since I’m an OBC, have been working with his party for so long, why won’t he not marry me!"

A worker of Congress Seva Dal, the woman has come forward to let her feelings be heard by her ‘dream man’. She claims talks about her marriage with Gandhi began way back in 2006. And she admits, she had little trust in him then. But after she joined the party in 2014, her impression about the leader started changing.

She says she has met the Amethi MP on several occasions. It was during such encounters that she felt that the Congress VP’s feelings were akin. When asked by the reporters what are the reasons, she says, "He is a good man, son of prime minister, good leader" and the list continues. When asked about any assurance from the leader, she says, "not in reality, face-to-face, but has assured me when I see him in my dreams."

She nurtures a fantasy in which Gandhi has promised to marry her, make her his wife and even have children together! Watch video
