Woman Advocate, Her Son, Mother Booked For Abusing TV Anchor

Hyderabad: Popular television anchor Geeta Bhagath filed a complaint against an advocate and two of her family members including a 12-year-old minor boy for abusing her.

Child rights activist Achyuta Rao said that police have violated law by booking a case against a minor

Sanatnagar police have registered a case under sections 504, 506 and 509 of the IPC against advocate Seeta, her son and her 75-year-old mother. Anchor Geeta and Seeta reside in an apartment at Motinagar. Anchor alleged that the accused family came to her house and verbally abused her in filthy language.

Meanwhile, child rights activist Achyuta Rao said that police have violated law by booking a case against a minor. The boy's mother would be filing a case on Monday.
